Once you have met all eligibility requirement and your application is approved, you will be required to sign the RV Master Manufacturer Agreement prior to assessment.
The expert assessor’s area of expertise will be specific to the component being considered, as outlined below.
Accounting, business planning and operations.
Risk management and insurance policies.
Qualified workplace inspector / OHS laws
ADRs, RVSA, RVMAP and Australian Standards.
Quality Management Systems and ISO accreditation.
Statutory workplace laws, awards, contracts, and business operations.
Consumer law, ACCC activities and the Privacy Act.
To successfully complete the assessment, every checkpoint must be rated at a standard of ‘meets requirement’ or above. Members who exceed these minimum requirements may be given higher recognition in the future.
Once you can meet the eligibility criteria and are confident it can be backed up with relevant documentation, systems and processes, then it’s time to start your application.
The first step is to supply a written expression of interest to Caravan Industry Victoria, expressing your desire to be part of the RV Master Manufacturer program. Once your credentials are confirmed, you will be provided with the RV Master Manufacturer Agreement to sign before you begin the program.
Upon successful completion of the assessment, you will be provided with the RV Master Logo and accreditation certificate to display on your premises and website. You will have permission to use the term RV Master, plus you will have the option to purchase other RV Master Merchandise.
Now you will gain the benefit of the RV Master advertising campaign and be recognised as a high-ranking member of the RV Manufacturing industry. To maintain the integrity of the program, members must continue to comply with the high standards held by the RV Masters brand.

The Caravan Industry Victoria RV Master Program Team will provide you with and overview of the assessment expectations for each pillar, and schedule assessments for an agreed time.
The assessment begins with a review of relevant documentation before an on-site assessment. The assessor will log all areas of non-compliance, a corrective action plan will be developed, and these will be rectified before a reassessment is scheduled and accreditation approved.
To achieve accreditation, applicants must meet the checkpoint requirements in each of the pillars. Additionally, reassessment and continual compliance must be achieved each year to maintain ongoing accreditation.
A detailed framework manual will be provided to all applicants outlining the requirements for successful accreditation.

Caravan Trades & Industries Association of Victoria (CIV) does not make any warranties or representations to any person in relation to the Services (including the customer); and CIV has no liability to the customer or any other person for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or liabilities of any kind caused by or in connection with the Services or any other acts or omissions of the Accredited Provider. All RV Master participants are contractually bound to meet the standards of the program which is audited on an annual basis to ensure compliance standards are met.
By participating in the Program, members agree to abide by the following terms and conditions as detailed in the RV Master Agreement: No Guarantee of Outcomes, Limitation of Liability, Information Accuracy and Indemnification. CIV shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in any way related to the RV Master Program.
The RV Master Manufacturers accreditation program will commence on 1 July 2025. Until this date, our participating businesses will be gaining accreditation by demonstrating an ability to meet a high level of standards with the program. A “RV Master Manufacturer Participant” is a manufacturer that has commenced the process of gaining accreditation under the RV Master Manufacturers accreditation program.
